Torsion springs at RS Springs are built to offer resistance to forces of twist or rotation. Our springs are able to endure both the lateral and angular forces. Torsion springs work by increasing the diameter and the body length under changing conditions, especially temperature and pressure. We have the capability to design and manufacture torsion springs to meet the specific dimensional and application requirements of customers. We manufacture torsion springs with ends in a variety of standard forms that include-
- Short hook springs
- Hinge springs
- Straight offset springs
- Straight torsion springs
- Double torsion springs
Material used :
- Spring Steel or Equivalent International Standards
- Stainless Steel Wire or Equivalent International Standards
- Phosphorus Bronze Wire Equivalent International Standards
- ETP Copper Wire Equivalent International Standards or As per customer requirement
End Types : Closed and Ground or as per customer requirement
Capacity of springs : Spring Load – 2 gms to 5 ton
Wire Diameter : 0.10 MM To 10.00 MM
Applications : Automotive Industry/Irrigation Equipment.
Important factor
When a torsion springs assumes a load, the diameter of the coil body will decrease. If the spring has something inside the coil, it will act as a mechanical stop to the action of the spring. Therefore, material encouraging slight expansion is designing is done to avoid any mechanical stop. We have the capability to design and manufacture torsion springs, double torsion springs to meet the specific dimensional and application requirements of customers.
